This four ingredients appetizer is so easy to make and they always go quick! Sometimes the simplest recipes can be the best ones. The star of the show are the pickles in this finger food. I don’t love pickles, but the rest of the world seems to! No utensils and no baking required, this appetizer might become a staple for you. Here’s how to make dill pickle roll ups.
How to Make Dill Pickle Tortilla Roll Ups
Ingredients
- 8 oz softened cream cheese
- Approx 1.5 cups honey ham chopped
- Approx 1.5 cups dill pickles chopped
- Tortillas
Instructions
- Make sure cream cheese is softened or at room temperature so it’s easy to stir/spread.
- Chop ham and pickles and add to bowl with cream cheese. I always eyeball these amounts, you can adjust if you like more pickles or ham, etc.
- After combined, spread a layer onto flour tortillas. I was able to make seven tortillas with the amount.
- Roll tortillas, cover, set in fridge to chill.
- Right before serving, take tortillas out and cut into bite-sized pieces.
This really is kind of an eyeball recipe for me. Feel free to add more meat or pickles or whatever other ingredients you like! I have taken these to a football tailgate (served on a paper plate for easy disposal before the game). And I just took these to a holiday party (served on a pretty tray). The point is these can be taken anywhere! Here are some cute trays if you are in the market.
You can make these ahead of time and put in the fridge, which I love. I’m not sure why every appetizer I ever make seems to have a brick of cream cheese in it, but here we are!
