How to Make Bacon Ranch Breakfast Pizza

After we get back from a trip, we all crave eating at home! With a weekend before heading back to work and school, I decided to try a new recipe for breakfast. It turned into brunch because we have been waking up so late with the time change from our trip. This bacon ranch breakfast pizza was an absolute home run with my family (a hubby and two teens) and they have asked me to keep it in the rotation! Here’s how to make bacon ranch breakfast pizza at home.

This pizza comes together with a few ingredients and you likely have many of them on hand already! The only thing needed to grab from the store was the refrigerated pizza dough. Please note that this pizza can be tweaked many ways, just like regular pizza!

Ingredients:

Instructions for Bacon Ranch Breakfast Pizza:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Roll out pizza dough on a 15x10x1 pan covered with parchment paper. Stretch the dough to the ends as much as you can keeping the dough even around. Poke the top of the dough using a fork all around to prevent from puffing up.
  2. Bake dough for 8 minutes at 400 degrees (after you add toppings, the pizza will go back in the oven).
  3. While the dough bakes, scramble the eggs (butter + eggs + milk + salt/pepper) and prepare you bacon.
  4. Remove dough from oven and begin layering your pizza. First, add a very thin layer of ranch dressing on top. If you love ranch, add as much as you like! I didn’t want the ranch flavor to overpower, so I added a very thin layer.
  5. Next, add a layer of scrambled eggs. Followed by a layer of cheese.
  6. Lastly, add your chopped bacon to the pizza.
  7. Pop back in the oven for about 8-10 minutes or until the pizza crust is slightly browned on the edges.
  8. You’re done! Enjoy! We found it easiest to cut the breakfast pizza with kitchen shears, just how we cut our regular pizza in this house!

Eggs:

Don’t forget to season your eggs with salt and pepper! And I think scrambled eggs are best made with a little butter in the pan. Be careful not to overcook scrambled eggs or they taste chewy.

Bacon:

I have found the best value with precooked bacon is Costco. I had just ran out so grabbed a different brand at the store, but having precooked bacon on hand has proven easy for us!

Ranch:

Homemade ranch (the Hidden Valley ranch packet kind) is the BEST and easy to make, but we usually have bottled ranch on hand for ease too. Adding a thin layer keeps the ranch flavor from overpowering. We all thought we could taste a hint of ranch, which is exactly what I wanted.

Cheese:

You can use whichever shredded cheese you love and have on hand! I’ve added mozzarella to breakfast casseroles before and it’s a game changer! I combined Colby Jack and Mozzarella because I had it in my fridge already!

Obviously you could add veggies, ham, sausage, etc to made to your liking! But there is just something about bacon and ranch that is so delicious together!

We spent the whole breakfast talking about how we loved this Bacon Ranch Breakfast Pizza! I’ll most definitely be making this again. The four of us ate on this and we still had leftovers, so it makes a good amount. We love to eat breakfast for dinner too, so eat this any time of day! Let me know if you try it! XO
