These protein power bites come together in no time! Natalie, at Designer Bags and Dirty Diapers, gets the credit for this original recipe. I started tweaking and adding a few extra ingredients over the years and have them down to the perfect taste and consistency that my whole family loves!
Simply combine ingredients, roll into little balls, refrigerate to harden up and store them in your fridge for a quick, go-to snack! Here’s how to make easy protein power bites.
Protein Power Bites
- 1 cup oats
- 1/3 cup shredded coconut
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon flax
- 1 scoop (I use the scoop that comes with the powder) vanilla protein powder (chocolate or PB protein powder would work too)
Add all ingredients together and mix well. If the mix feels too stiff, you can add a little more honey.
Once mixed, I use a melon baller to grab evenly sized bites. Form into balls and place on a tray or in a storage container. Pop them into the fridge so they can firm up! No bake! So simple! Healthy-ish!!
These flavorful bites are perfect for a grab n’ go snack, a midnight snack, breakfast, an after school snack, a lunchbox treat, etc! There are so many variations of power bites, but my family always requests this one. Hope you’ll try this easy protein power bites! XO

These did not last long in our house! I think I will have to make them weekly!!
By “scoop” of protein powder, do you have an approx equivalent? 1/4 c, or whatever? Thanks 🙂
I just use the scoop that comes in the tub of protein powder! Eyeballing is good too!
