Kate turns five next week so we celebrated this past weekend with a roller skating party! We decided to give out these cotton candy cone party favors to the guests as they left. Let’s be honest, kids just want the sugar! The skating party pretty much ran itself (the best kind), and the only things I really had to do were bake cupcakes and assemble these easy party favors.
Supplies Needed:
- Cellophane party bags
- Cotton Candy (we grabbed from the Dollar store)
- Happy Birthday curling ribbon (also from Dollar store)
- Sugar cones
Assembling the Cotton Candy Cone Party Favors
- First, take a chunk of the cotton candy and form it into a ball, to make it resemble ice cream.
- Next, place on top of the cone. The cotton candy kept popping out of ours, so we just made sure to tie the ribbon tightly at the top so the cotton candy stayed secure.
- Insert cone into the cellophane bag, tie and curl your ribbon, and you’re done! So easy and festive!
I think these DIY Cotton Candy Cone Party Favors could also be substituted for Valentine’s Day treats with a fun message attached to the ribbon! xo

Cute idea! I made some faux cotton candy trees as part of my Christmas decoration this year. I love how the cotton candy looks almost exactly like ice cream and you don't have to worry about it melting 🙂
