My neighbor and friend recently hosted a birthday party for her four year old daughter, who happens to be one of Drew’s little buddies. After a pool party, we went back to their home and the kids made ice cream sundaes. Prior to the party, she dropped off these adorable DIY ice cream party invitations. I thought they were so cute and creative! Lucky for me, she took pictures so I could blog about it! Here is how to make DIY ice cream party invitations.
Supplies Needed for Ice Cream Party Invitations
- foam balls
- glue
- paint
- ribbon
- mini cups and spoons
- “You’re Invited” tags
- stickers with party details
Assemble the Invitations
Her girls helped her make these, which I love. Here are the foam balls drying outside. Simply paint the foam balls to make them look like ice cream and set them in the ice cream cups (you could add a ring of glue to help secure it) . Add accessories with party details secured with a ribbon around the cup. Get creative with this part!
Of course, because these are 3D invitations, you would have to drop them off. They are so cute, they are worth the drive!
Thanks to my friend Liza for sharing! I think these are the perfect little crafty and creative party invitations. XO
