I picked up some M&M’s the other day and decided to make monster cookies. First, I checked with my mom to see if she had any recipes. Sure enough, she had an “oldie but a goodie” recipe. Her recipe was for flourless monster cookies and they were delicious!
This recipe yielded over three dozen cookies, so Steve took some to work and we shared some with friends. Â A definite crowd pleaser and fun to make in October because of their “Monster” name.
Flourless Monster Cookies
Ingredients:
brown sugar – 1 cup
sugar – 1 cup
1 stick butter (softened)
3 eggs
1.5 cups peanut butter
2 teaspoons baking soda
4.5 cups quick oats
1 teaspoon vanilla
M&M’s (you choose how many!)
Instructions for Monster Cookies:
1. First, mix together sugars and margarine. Â
2. Next, add eggs and beat to mix.
3. Finally, add remaining ingredients. Â
4. Drop on a greased cookie sheet. Bake until lightly browned, about 12 minutes at 350 degrees. Â DO NOT OVERBAKE!
Sorry I don’t have many photos from this recipe, but I wanted to share! These are super easy to make and perfect for an after school or lunch snack. I feel like these ingredients are ones we all have on hand. If you didn’t have M&Ms, it would be easy to add just chocolate chips, which would pair well with the peanut butter.
