How to Make a Sweet and Salty Snack Mix

Ingredients
  

  • 2.5 cups Honey Nut Cheerios
  • 2.5 cups Corn Chex
  • 1.5 cups pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup M&Ms
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 2.5 cups white chocolate baking chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • sprinkles (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Combine cereals, pretzels, peanuts, and M&Ms in a large bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, melt the white chocolate and coconut oil in the microwave. Start with 30 seconds, stir. Keep going another 30 seconds and stir. Do this until melted.
  • Pour melted chocolate over the dry ingredients and stir carefully until all pieces are coated.
  • Cover a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Tip: roll up paper into a ball and then lay out flat on the baking sheet. This helps keep it flat! Pour mixture on to the baking sheet and spread out until mostly flat.
  • Let set up at room temperature or put in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes to harden up.
  • Once ready to serve, remove from fridge and break up into chunks/pieces. Add sprinkles or more M&Ms to provide a pop of color. I served mine in a bowl.
