I feel like all protein bites have similar ingredients, but my family always wants me to make these for the week! Even when I try to make more interesting flavored ones or switch it up, they always come back to liking this more classic recipe the best. Here is how to make chocolate peanut butter protein bites.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1.5 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup rice cereal
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 scoop protein powder (I use chocolate or chocolate peanut butter)
- 1 Tablespoon milk
- 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips (or any kind of sweet treat you like)

How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bites
- Combine all ingredients into a large bowl and stir until incorporated.
- Use an ice cream scoop or melon baller to get a uniform size bite.
- Place on a baking sheet in the refrigerator until they harden up.
- Store in a container in the fridge.

I also like to shake in some chia seeds for fiber. It doesn’t change the texture of the protein bites.

Using an ice cream scoop or melon baller makes this process simple! This recipe makes exactly 24 bites with this size of scoop.

These are perfect for a snack, lunch box, breakfast, after practice, etc! The little added texture of the rice cereal is so good! Here is a similar recipe on my blog from 2020. There are a few changes in ratios and ingredients, my family likes both! XO
