Sweet summertime! It alwasy feels like summer when I bust out some summer beer. Whenever I share the original summer beer recipe I got from my best friend, people always share with me their own version of how they make it. So, I tried one of those ideas! It’s the same general recipe with a few swaps. Here is how to make summer beer with tequila instead of vodka.
Summer Beer with Tequila
Ingredients:
- one can frozen limeade
- 2 liter of squirt (or Fresca)
- two mexican style beers
- tequila of choice (enough to fill up one can)
Instructions:
- Add one can frozen limeade to a large pitcher.
- Fill can with tequila of choice, pour, and mix well.
- Add a 2-liter of squirt (or Fresca) and mix again.
- After the fizz has settled, pour in two beers but don’t stir after they go in.
- Serve over ice with a lime wedge!

I like to use these pitchers to prepare summer beer. They look festive and are large enough to hold all of the ingredients. Hope you find the time to make this twist on my summer beer recipe! It serves a lot and it’s so refreshing! XO
