How to Make Baked Crack Chicken Dip

We host and attend a lot football watch parties! I wanted to try something new over the weekend, so I landed on this baked crack chicken dip from Plain Chicken. It’s easy to prepare with just a few ingredients. This is not healthy, but it’s delicious! I would expect nothing less from a recipe with cream cheese and sour cream. The best kind of dips start there! Here’s how to make baked crack chicken dip.

Baked Crack Chicken Dip

Ingredients:

I was in a hurry when making this, so cheating with ingredients is the way to go! Our grocery store has precooked and pre shredded rotisserie chicken in the prepared foods section. You could boil, bake, grab a rotisserie chicken and cut yourself, etc.

Bacon is one food I try to cheat with if I can. Especially if a recipe calls for chopped bacon. Pre cooked bacon is super easy to throw in the microwave for a minute. Chop and it’s ready!

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Hint: I was also cooking something else at the same time that needed 350 degrees. You are just heating this through so anywhere between 350-400 would work. Just keep an eye on it. You want it to be bubbling.
  2. Add all ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
  3. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray and add mixture. Spread evenly in the pan. This recipe makes a lot, so you will need a larger baking dish. Again, any will work, it just might take longer to heat through if your pan is smaller.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes or until heated through and bubbly.
  5. Serve with chips, crackers, veggies, or whatever you love!

I hope you enjoyed how to make baked crack chicken dip. You could totally omit the chicken from this recipe and bake on top of chicken breasts for dinner too. Everyone loved this dip at the party. This recipe is great because it feeds a lot of people and we even brought some home for leftovers, which usually are better the next day! XO
