Happy fall! We had some leftover apples sitting around from apple picking that I wanted to use up. It was a perfect fall night to make s’mores, so I came up with the idea of making caramel apple s’mores! They were so delicious! The perfect amount of sweet and tart, chewy and crunchy. Find out how to make caramel apple s’mores.
Caramel Apple S’mores
How To:
- Gather your ingredients: marshmallows, apple slices, graham crackers, and chocolate caramel squares.
- Toast up your marshmallows.
- Assemble and enjoy!
I prefer to cut the apple slices thin. You can use whatever kind of chocolate caramel you love! The apple slices give just enough tart to cut the sweet. Loved the layers of flavor!
We have both a wood burning firepit and a gas firepit. When we want to be quick, we use the gas burning for s’mores. These sticks are perfect for roasting marshmallows, hot dogs, etc! We’ve had them for years! They are easy to clean and stretch out long for tiny hands.
These plastic trays are perfect for s’more night! I originally bought several of these at the Dollar Store when Kate had a gingerbread house decorating party. They are perfect for containing all the different items.
I hope you try these caramel apple s’mores this fall! The possibilities are truly endless with a good old fashioned toasted marshmallow! xo
