One of Kate’s best friends was recently selling peaches for a fundraiser. We bought a flat of them and they were so ripe and delicious. As they started to get a little too ripe, I wanted to throw the rest of them in a peach crisp. I use the same crisp recipe as my apple crisp, just changed out the fruit! This recipe is so easy, you likely have everything you need on hand! Here’s how to make homemade peach crisp.
My mom has been using this recipe my whole life. I remember eating crisps as a kid! To save a lot of time, I decided to leave the skins on the peaches. I ended up using about 9 peaches for this recipe. You can alter this based on the size of your peaches.

This crisp recipe is so versatile, you can throw whatever fruit you like into it! Homemade peach crisp was such a tasty snack to end the summer. Our family actually ate this for lunch one day because we wanted to eat it right out of the oven. My daughter told me she could smell it from the second floor!
If you don’t serve it all at once, you can put this in the refrigerator for a few days and just reheat in the microwave. Or eat cold! I’ve also made grilled peaches with honey and cinnamon if you need another idea to use up some peaches!
Stop back here if you try this homemade peach crisp recipe and let me know if it was a hit! This a good one to have the kids help with the mixing and layering. XO
