We all love a breakfast sandwich, right?! There are so many different combinations to be made and enjoy. I threw some ingredients together from my fridge a few weeks ago, and have been eating this every day since! My version is a bacon, egg, and garlic cheese spread breakfast sandwich, but obviously you could switch up the protein or add veggies. Microwave bacon and that cheese spread are the real stars here. Oh, and the hint of tabasco for a little heat/flavor!
Microwave Bacon for Breakfast Sandwich
This microwave bacon is so good! My family deems it the best they have tried. This one comes with (4) pouches of (4) pieces of bacon. Pop in the microwave for 3 1/2 minutes and you have no-mess, crispy bacon!
Garlic Herb Soft Cheese
This garlic and herb cheese spread is sooooo delicious! I’m a garlic person, so I love it. I use this in place of a slice of cheese. Simply spread on with a knife and it gets in all the nooks and crannies of whichever bread/enlish muffin you like! This can be found at any grocery store, Walmart, Target, etc. There is also a brand called Boursin that is basically the same thing.
Choose Your Bread
We usually eat breakfast sandwiches on english muffins. I usually buy Dave’s Killer Bread brand, Thomas brand, or Bays brand (in the refrigerated section). We put ours in the toaster until lightly toasted. Lately I’ve also been loving this sandwich on sourdough!
Lastly, the egg. We like fried eggs on breakfast sandwiches, but you could obviously add scrambled eggs or baked eggs or over easy eggs, etc! Always add salt and pepper for taste!
Don’t skip the step of adding a few shakes of Tabasco Sauce at the end! Even if you don’t like a ton of heat, this takes the flavor level up a notch. This sandwich comes together in less than five minutes!
