Happy summer! It’s grilling season! My family loves to eat grilled peaches with cinnamon and honey for dessert this time of year. Peaches are readily available and inexpensive and simple to prepare. I’m happy to report I recently learned how to turn on and use the grill so I’m officially becoming a grill master! Here’e how to grill peaches with cinnamon and honey for your next dessert.
How to Make Grilled Peaches
- Wash peaches and cut in half (throw the pit out but leave the skin on).
- Brush inside with melted butter.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of cinnamon on top of the butter.
- Turn your grill up to 400 degrees and start sizzling!
I don’t turn mine. Just leave them face down on the grill until they start to get grill marks and feel soft and juicy! Remove the peaches from the grill and add a drizzle of honey on top.
<Serve alone (the healthiest option), or serve with your favorite ice cream (the best way)! Ha! We found this Turkey Hill triple vanilla ice cream and it was delicious. I also think butter pecan or cinnamon ice cream would be a perfect match.
Grilled peaches with cinnamon and honey is the perfect summer treat to serve up to your family or guests! You could probably use the same technique with pineapple or any other favorite fruit. Linking our grill here in case you are in search of one. I hope you’re summer is off to the best start! xo
