How to Create Scrapbook Paper Place Cards

I’m back with a quick post on how to create scrapbook paper place cards. I made these last night in about 10 minutes with supplies I already had on hand. If you can use scissors and tape, you can make these! We host my husband’s family for Thanksgiving every year, and I like to set a more formal dining table (because it otherwise doesn’t get used much). That being said, I also like to keep things easy and simple. So, I decided to make eight of these place cards for no cost because I had everything on hand!

How to Create Scrapbook Paper Place Cards

I already had this thick glitter scrapbook paper sitting in a drawer from another project. First, I cut eight equal rectangles and folded them in half. I did not measure, just a good old eyeball. Next, add white paper pre-cut business cards or white card stock to the front. I adhered these with folded scotch tape. A glue stick would probably work too. Lastly, write your guest’s names on the card stock. That’s it!

These add a little glam to the table which I love. And they are custom! We are celebrating Kate’s birthday on Thanksgiving day this year, so a little glam will do her some good too. More pictures of the full table to come once I get fresh flowers next week!

I like to get the table set ahead of time so I can focus on the food! I hope this simple tutorial on how to create scrapbook paper placards was helpful! You can find another tutorial for DIY place cards here. XO
