Back in January, I decided to make my first batch of homemade all purpose cleaner. I have always cleaned my own house, and our current house has four bathrooms and a large kitchen to maintain. It felt like I was going through a lot of cleaner!
I did some online research and kept seeing the same homemade recipe pop up, so I knew it must be good. Now that I have started using this, I won’t buy store-bought again! It’s so simple to make using ingredients you likely already have in your pantry. Here’s how to make homemade all purpose cleaner.
Supplies Needed to Make All Purpose Cleaner
- 1 teaspoon Dawn dish soap
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 Tablespoons vinegar
- 2 cups water
- Spray bottles (I keep one on the first floor under the sink and one upstairs)
How to Make the Homemade Cleaner
- I always start with a glass measuring cup to make my life easier.
- Next, add water.
- Finally, add the remaining 3 ingredients, stir, and pour into your spray bottle.
I found it easy to just write the recipe on the spray bottle so it’s easy to remake and refill when I’m out! Hopefully you find this homemade all purpose cleaner helpful for your own home. XO
