I love making “homemade” Valentines when the kids are little and in preschool. Using another Pinterest idea, Kate chose Ring Pop Gem Valentines for her preschool class. I was able to acquire all supplies at Dollar Tree! I used this free printable that reads “You’re a real ‘Gem’ Valentine”, printed on card stock. These are nice because they have a homemade feel but the ring pop is in it’s own packaging.

Supplies Needed for Ring Pop Gem Valentines
Dollar Tree sells Princess Ring Pops that have clear packaging around them. Perfect for showing off the “gem”! I also purchased the curling ribbon and cellophane bags at Dollar Tree as well. Simple, inexpensive, and festive! You can create a free printable using your own printer at home (see link above).

How to Assemble Gem Valentines
Simply add one ring pop inside the cellophane bag. Punch a hole in the card stock and tie the bag with curling ribbon. I had Kate practice writing her name on all of the cards too!
These are perfect because they feel semi-homemade, which I always love! I hope you enjoyed learning how to make these gem Valentines. Happy Valentine’s Day! XO
