Our front porch came together this year with mums, pumpkins, and a few budget-friendly DIY projects. It is so much more fun to decorate now that the kids have an interest! Several of these items were things I made and will link down below. Here is how to decorate a Halloween porch.
Halloween Porch Details
Chalkboard Sign
I thought this was kitschy and cute for trick or treaters or guests to read!
Mums and Pumpkins
I always add mum and pumpkins for the season. The fall colors helps bring the porch to life.
Ghosts, Webs, Bats for Halloween
You can find this web material for cheap at most stores. Our rocking chairs were the perfect spot for this. You can find these DIY ghosts here.
Skull Wreath and Spider Webs
I made this skull wreath with items I already had on hand. It really pops off our blue door! These DIY spider webs made out of washi tape might be my favorite touch of all.
Do you like to add Halloween decor or just keep things for fall? I like to mix a little bit of both. I figure once our kids are grown, I probably won’t do much. So, I’m enjoying it while I can! I think all the young kids in our neighborhood probably love it too. Decorations are up, costumes have been decided, now we just need some candy! I hope you like this post on how to decorate a Halloween porch. Happy October! XO
