We have been wanting to make homemade bubbles for awhile and we finally got around to it last weekend. This is a very easy process, and the bubbles turned out perfect! Making homemade bubbles allows you to make a huge batch at once and in my opinion, they turned out way better than store bought. Read ahead for how to make homemade bubbles.
Supplies Needed:
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup liquid dish soap
- 1 1/2 quarts of water
- Large container with lid for storing
I bought the cheapest version of ingredients and have so much leftover. This should easily last us throughout the spring/summer.Â
Mixing the Homemade Bubbles:
Mix water and corn syrup together, then add the dish soap. I did this part in a pitcher as it already had the quart measurement on the side. After mixing, I transferred to a container with a lid. Store bubbles in a sealed container (this red one is from Dollar Tree). The large bubble wand is also from Dollar Tree.
I think making bubbles at home is the perfect spring/summer activity to do with kids! They can assist with making it, and then they can have fun playing. We store our extra bubble mix in the garage as it can get sticky! You can find the original post where I found the recipe here. xo
