How to Make Sausage Rotel Crescent Roll Ups

Here's how to make sausage rotel crescent roll ups for your next party or get together! The perfect super bowl food too!

Ingredients

  • one roll of pork sausage you could use hot if you like it spicy
  • one brick of cream cheese
  • one can rotel also comes in mild or hot
  • two rolls crescent rolls

Instructions

  • Brown sausage over medium heat until cooked through. Drain any grease if necessary and return to pan.
  • Add cream cheese and stir until melted.
  • Drain rotel and add to the pan. IMPORTANT: BE SURE TO SQUEEZE OUT ALL THE LIQUID. EVEN WHEN YOU THINK ITS GOOD, KEEP SQUEEZING THE LIQUID OUT.
  • Using both rolls of crescents, cut each triangle into two triangles leaving you with a total of 32 small triangles. These do not have to be pefect! You just need a vessel to put the sausage mixture in.
  • Add a spoonful of sausage/cream cheese/rotel mixture to each triangle and roll up. You will have to eyeball to make sure each triangle has a similar amount.
  • Bake at 375 degrees on an uncreased cookie sheet until crescents are browned, approximately 10-13 minutes (check periodically so the bottoms don't get burned).
