Summer Bar Cart Styling

This vintage bar cart is one of my favorite pieces in our home! It’s so fun for me to decorate and change up and junk up! I decided recently to style it for summer – holding on to summer as long as possible over here! This is a large scale piece with three shelves, so I’m able to fit a lot of items on it. I love the color and texture and whimsy!

The bar cart sits in the corner of our dining room, visible from anywhere on the first floor because our home is open concept. It tucks perfectly in this spot in front of one of the windows.

Top Shelf: Leaned artwork (thrifted), booze, snakeskin tray, Kate Spade coasters, cut stems from my philodendron selloum, concrete lamp (Homegoods), and a macrame tassel. It’s all about the details for me!

Middle Shelf: Large melamine tray, glasses, copper mugs, bowls from our travels to Seoul, bar/drink books, and a crystal candle holder (love the shot of peach).

Bottom Shelf: Wine, Pellegrino, bar napkins, a shaker, paper straws, and faux limes for a summer touch. I love to layer and use different materials to create visual interest.

I added a rattan planter right next to the bar cart for added texture and to give it more of a boho vibe. My style is all over the board, but eclectic is probably a good word to use here! And clearly I’m not minimalistic when it comes to styling the bar cart! If you’re not into using a cart as a bar station, you could easily use for plants, a coffee station, make-up/bathroom carts, kitchen storage, and any thing else you can dream up. I’ve linked up some similar carts below! Happy styling! XO
