I wanted to share the opening of Sears Home & Life Store is opening in Overland Park! Sears is rolling these stores out in several cities and Kansas was lucky enough to get one. The square footage of the new store is smaller and easier to navigate, but the products and services are the same quality you would expect from Sears’ trusted name.
What Does the Store Carry?
This new store is sleek and modern and bright with large aisles to shop. The store carries mattresses, large appliances, small appliances, home services, and connected home products. I found this to be a very easy and enjoyable shopping experience!
This store has a large selection of name brand mattresses to choose from. They also have a Dream Lab technology system that recommends what firmness your body responds to!
Services at Sears Home and Life Store
Aside for items to purchase, Sears also provides a Home Services area where you can get help with appliance repair and parts and accessories replacements. Shoppers can also work with experts regarding home improvement needs such as windows, roofing, cabinets, countertops, flooring, and more!
This store in Overland Park has a kitchen set up for events too. Give me all the shiny new appliances please!
You will find a welcome desk when you walk in and can meet with Home & Life experts and explore appliances that will work in your home.
You will also find a “Search Bar” kiosk in store where you can access Sears products and services. When you make online purchase, the items can be picked up in store or delivered to your home. Sears provides free store pickup on any item purchased on sears.com. You can also return items to the store that you purchase online. I love this feature! For Shop Your Way members, you can also shop online or in the Sears app and select “in-vehicle pick up”, which means you don’t even have to get out of your car to pick up your items!
I was able to attend the grand opening of this store and did a little shopping for myself! A Nest thermostat came home with me. My husband is going to install ours, but Sears offers installation if needed! Sears offers many smart home products.
I also came home with a Kenmore dutch oven! Also something I’ve never had before. I can’t wait to put it to good use!
It was a great morning checking out the new Sears Home & Life store! The address is 6327 W. 119th Street, Overland Park, KS.
