Hello friends! I’m titling this post Patriotic Front Porch instead of “4th of July” Front Porch because you could use this look on Memorial Day, flag day, or really the whole month of July in my opinion! I love red/white/blue all year long, but especially in the summer. There is just something so heart warming and nostalgic about it! If you see anything you like, you can now shop this post!
There is not really a lot to explain here, I just wanted to share some photos! I always keep black/white striped pillows on the rockers thought the year. They just “go” with everything and work for all times of the year. So, I switch out those pillows for red/white/blue stars and stripes when the time is right!
We always fly an American flag outside of our home, all year long. I love this. Again, I feel this makes a home look cozy and inviting! I also add smaller flags in my flower pots. This is the most inexpensive and easiest thing you can do to make your house look festive! You can find cheap flags all over for $1 or less!
Anymore, I love to just keep things simple. I used to clutter up the porch with several pots and different little things and I’m liking clean and simple and unfussy so much more! I’ve also gone with no wreath the last few years and I love the look. This adds to the cleanness I am craving. I love our front door so much, and with no wreath you can actually see the door!
I’ve had these layered doormats for several months now and I love the look. It just adds a little texture and dimension and looks inviting!
