Some friends invited us for dinner a few weekends ago and it also happened to be the first day of spring. I wanted to bring them a little gift and thought a flower seemed appropriate for the day. These pink gerber daisies were the winner. I wanted to jazz up the presentation a little bit, so I cam up with this. Here’s how to wrap a plant with wrapping paper.
How To Wrap a Plant with Wrapping Paper
I decided to keep the plant in the original pot and dress up the outside using striped wrapping paper and a little curling ribbon. The wrapping paper is from Homegoods. Simply cut out a large square of wrapping paper. This doesn’t have to be perfect. Next, place the pot in the center of the square, with the decorative side of the paper against the table. Start folding and tucking the paper all around. Use double sided tape to help secure the paper at each crease. Once the paper is tucked and wrapped and secured, tie your ribbon or string and you’re done!
This is such an easy and simple way to dress up a plastic pot. This also allows the recipient to do what they want with the flower. Scrapbook paper or fabric would work too!
