I was wanting something big and eye catching for my front door for spring. Not wanting to spend a lot of time or money on anything, I dug through my craft stash and found an old grapevine wreath. Also found? Faux flower stems I used on my spring mantle last year. In trying to use what I had on hand, I came up with this DIY spring wreath. Here’s How to Create a DIY spring wreath with no glue needed!
Materials Needed:
- Large faux stems (these are from Hobby Lobby)
- Floral wire
- Ribbon of choice
- Grapevine wreath
How to Create a DIY Spring Wreath with No Glue:
- This takes about 5 minutes to assemble!
- I ended up using 4 large stems from Hobby Lobby (catch them when they are 50% off and they are cheap). They have a million colors and styles to choose from. The ends are bendable, so instead of trying to cut them off, I snaked them around the bottom and I actually liked how they looked.
- I bought some floral wire at Dollar Tree and tied some around the middle of the stems to hold them in place, tight to the wreath.
- I then added a striped ribbon from my stash to hide the wire and add some more color.
This DIY spring wreath is so easy to make because there is no glue involved! We have a covered porch, which helps keep this wreath from getting trampled in the elements. Go dig through your stash of things and see what you can come up with! This project cost me zero dollars because I used what I had on hand! XO
